FOR OUR CLIENTS

The Living Plan

Your team, kept close. Your plan, kept current.

Four women are smiling and posing together indoors, dressed in business-casual attire, standing and sitting around a reflective glass table against a neutral background.

Life keeps moving after the signing table. The plan you signed last year was exactly right for last year, but keeping it right, and keeping the people around it ready, is its own kind of work.

The Living Plan is how our firm stays part of your team and your plan is kept accurate. It is not just an annual visit with your lawyer, but a standing relationship that can include the people who will actually make your plan work someday: your successor trustees, your agents, your adult children, your CPA, your financial advisor.

A Relationship Like the Other Ones You Value

You see your doctor every year, your dentist every six months, your CPA every spring. These are the relationships we maintain, not because something is wrong, but because the stakes are too important to leave untended.

The estate plan is the only one of those relationships most people still assume ends at the signing table. A good estate plan belongs in the same category as your annual physical or your tax filing, and it deserves the same steady attention.

Who Comes to theTable

Every year we sit down for your annual meeting or working session. That is the backbone of membership. Most years, that is all you need, a meeting to update, realign, and look ahead together.

In some years, though, the meeting is better when someone else is at the table. That is when the plan really shows its value, because the people who will one day use it already know us, and already know each other.

  • Some years, it makes sense to bring your family. Your successor trustee, adult children, or agents join us so we can walk through the plan together.
  • Some years, it makes sense to bring your advisors. Your CPA, financial advisor, and insurance team meet with us at the same table so nothing falls between professionals and every piece of your plan stays aligned.
  • Some years, a little of everything. Life happens in layers, and the session flexes to match.

What changes when you join

Without The Living Plan With The Living Plan
When something shifts in your life You make a note to call us. Sometimes you do. Your annual review catches it, or we hear about it when you contact us.
When your CPA or financial advisor has a question They call you. You relay. Something gets lost. They call us directly. You hear the outcome.
When your successor trustee needs to understand the plan They'll read it someday, probably under pressure. They meet our team while you're still at the table.
When a law changes that affects you You hear about it on the news, or you don't. You hear it from us, in plain language, with what to do.
When you're not sure if something's worth a call You decide it isn't. You ask. That's the whole point.
When a year goes by Your plan is a year older. Your plan is a year more current.

The kind of client who joins

You did this the first time because you wanted it done properly. You read the documents. You asked questions. You took it seriously because your family is serious to you.

If two or three of these sound like you, this is probably a fit.

  • You’d rather ask a question early than fix a problem later.
  • You like knowing who to call, and you like that they already know you.
  • You don't love surprises, especially legal ones.
  • You think of your estate plan as a living thing, not a finished project.
  • You want the people who will run this someday to know us, and to know each other.
  • You’re building something, a family, a business, a legacy, that deserves an attentive team, not an annual scramble.

You already know us. That’s the point.

When something shifts, you won’t start over with a stranger. You’ll pick up where we left off, with the people who built the plan.

Your membership is a relationship with the firm, not just one person. Every member of our team plays a part:

  • Emily or Mary leads your annual working session and any strategic conversations about your plan.
  • Our Whole Team handles amendments, document updates, and the day-to-day questions that come up between meetings.
  • You have direct access to schedule with us We work together to coordinate your advisor calls, family meetings, and scheduling, so you never feel like you’re chasing us.

The same people stay with you year after year. That is how relationships like this are supposed to work.

Questions We Hear

Do I really need this? My plan is done.

Most plans are “done” the day they are signed, and a year later something is already a little off. A grandchild, a move, a change in the law. Membership is how those things get caught early instead of deferred into something bigger. If a one-time annual visit fits your life better, we will say so.

My family doesn’t love the idea of sitting down with a lawyer. How do family meetings actually work?

Low-key, and only when useful. About an hour, led by our team, in plain language. The point is for everyone to feel prepared, not lectured.

Can I include my adult kids without overwhelming them?

Absolutely. Some families include them every year. Others bring them in every few years, or only when a big change is on the horizon. You decide.

Is this actually a good deal?

For active clients, usually yes. For quieter years, you are paying for a standing relationship, not a transaction. Both are legitimate reasons to join.

Can I just call you when I need something?

Always. Non-members are welcome at our standard rates. Members get the annual structure, included updates, coordination with advisors, and discounts that make “let me just ask” feel easy.

Who on the team will I actually work with?

Emily or Mary for your annual working session and anything strategic. Our paralegal team for amendments and day-to-day questions. Our client care team for scheduling and meeting prep. You’ll know everyone by name.

How do I reach you?

Phone, email, scheduling. Members get a dedicated inbox and scheduling links that routes straight to our team.

Are the webinars live?

Live once a month, every session recorded and sent to members. You are never paying for a time slot you can’t make.

What if my life has a big year?

That is what this is for. If the year turns out larger than expected, we will talk plainly about whether your needs fit inside membership or whether a separate project makes more sense. Either way, you are on the member rate.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Annual plans can be canceled at any time. No long-term contract.

What if I move out of Arizona?

Your plan stays valid until the laws of your new state make an update useful. If that day comes, we will coordinate with a trusted attorney there.

What if something happens to Emily?

A fair question, given what we do. Your plan and your membership are held by the firm, not by Emily personally. We have succession arrangements in place with trusted Arizona estate attorneys.

Ready to make sure the plan you built keeps working?

One plan, $125 a month or $1250 a year (two months on us).
